As of November 1st 2021, fully vaccinated travellers can now enter parts of Thailand without quarantine.
For fully vaccinated tourists, you will be able to stay in the accommodation of your choice.
For those who are not fully vaccinated, you will most likely have to come through Bangkok quarantine as before but it could be for less time than the 14-days.
Those who are travelling with unvaccinated children may still have to quarantine for a shorter time at a SHA+ Hotel on Koh Phangan for 10 or 7 days. There are also SHA+ Hotels on Koh Samui.
You should check your own personal situation with the Embassy when booking travel.
Unfortunately during the pandemic many hotels, resorts and hostels have permanently had to close their doors, so where can you stay on Koh Phangan if coming for the high season?
