The future of Bangkok is green. "The "Benjakitti Park" is expanding and becoming a "forest park" in the Asoke area of the city. The new addition will feature a 1.5-kilometre elevated walkway surrounded by tropical trees and a bicycle track connecting to Lumpini Park. The park will also have canals and ponds with a variety of plants.

The project will cost 652 million baht for phases 2 and 3 and is set to be completed by next year. On their Facebook page, ASEAN Skyline posted renderings of the project.

Suan Pa Benjakitti, or Benjakitti Forest Park, will be named for the project. The park, built on land previously owned by Thailand's Tobacco Authority, honours the late-queen Sirikit Kitiyakara.
