Thailand's Wonderfruit Festival Cancelled this Year

This year the Wonderfruit Festival is canceled, organizers said Wednesday.

One of the largest music festivals in Thailand said that due to concerns about the coronavirus, it called off the annual music festival.

"We all learned about Covid-19 in February. Like many of you, we have been confused, worried, and slightly challenged that it will soon pass," the announcement said.

We started planning everything out; Wonderfruit 2020 was going to be beautiful, and the year our planet was going through was reflective. But as weeks became months, the constraints, insecurity, and confusion grew ... the difficult decision to delay the Wonderfruit festival untill December 2021 had to be made.'

Management also asked for people who had purchased a ticket to hold on to them as they can be used for Wonderfruit festival in 2021, 2022, and 2023, but refunds on tickets are still being offered.
