According to Thailand's Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) spokesperson Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin, entertainment venues in 41 provinces, including Bangkok, will be ordered to close for 14 days to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
The Prime Minister is supposed to sign the proposal as soon as tomorrow (Friday).
According to the Daily News, the plan calls for all pubs, restaurants, karaokes, and massage parlours in 41 provinces to close for 14 days.
It's unclear if restaurants would be affected by the closure order.

Domestic travel in Thailand is currently unrestricted, with the Prime Minister stating that no plans to impose a national lockdown are in the works.
The news comes after Thailand confirmed the first case of the virus's more infectious UK strain on Wednesday.
Provincial health officials in Phuket and Prachuap Khiri Khan had ordered all bars to close for 10 and 4 days, respectively, earlier on Thursday.
The CCSA registered 405 new COVID-19 cases at its regular COVID-19 briefing on Thursday.
