Simple Life Divers on Koh Tao was founded 13 years ago by a couple of English divers who fell in love with the island and its crystal clear waters teaming with marine life. From a small shack on Sairee beach doing dive trips from traditional Thai longtail boats, Simple Life has evolved into one of Koh Tao’s premier PADI 5 star career development centers.
Simple Life offer all levels of PADI training from beginner to pro level. We have 2 spacious well equipped dive boats doing trips every morning and afternoon to the best dive sites around Koh Kao. They also have spacious dorm rooms above the shop as well as a swimming pool, private beach area and bar/restaurant facilities.
Simple Life also offer discounts continuing education courses for example if someone completes their open water course with them and wants to continue to advanced open water they will receive a discount, all ex customers receive discounted fun dives for life.
What is different about your diving experience?
Simple life divers have been established for 13 years and was one of the first dive schools on Koh Tao. We have some of the most experienced dive instructors on Koh Tao bringing years of teaching experience together to provide the best diver training to our customers. Our customers are able to learn in a safe and comfortable environment from our air-conditioned classrooms to our purpose built training pool and dive boats. We aim to make the whole experience professional and fun.
What is the atmosphere, how do you want people to feel?
We aim to provide a family feel at simple life divers, we want our customers to be able to learn in a fun and relaxed environment. We have many long term staff who together have accumulated years of diving experience and are able to answer any questions whether about diving or the island itself. We also hold regular free BBQ’s and killer pool nights in our bar where everybody is invited to relax and have a drink or two!
What uniqueness does your business bring to Koh Tao?
Being established for so long we have a great knowledge of the dive industry, all of the staff from management to our boat captains are passionate divers who want to share our love of diving and the oceans with our customers. We regularly organise eco days where our staff and customers will go out and clean any rubbish/debris from our dive sites so we can keep them in pristine condition for the future.
What do you enjoy about the island of Koh Tao?
Koh Tao itself is a small island compared to its neighboring island of Phangan and Samui. It is a lot less developed than its neighbors which gives it a unique ‘island’ feel. Being small makes it easy to get around from the main beach area of Sairee to the port town of Mae Haad to the southern part of the island Chalok Ban Kao. Koh Tao has its own relaxed vibe together with its average of 300 sunny days a year makes it an awesome place to visit all year round.

Our Philosophy is simple, we want to share our love of diving and the ocean with our customers and make sure they have the best time of their holiday when they dive with us. It is always great when we get returning customers telling us about their dive experience in different locations, however they almost always say it doesn’t compare to simple life!!!
