Now we will Miss Mee

Before Miss Mee returned to Belgium Phanganist met her for a small follow up.

She has been here Rocking the Crowds for Xmas and new year and we would like to see her back on the island again for more of her crispy tunes.

She boogied a few venues more after New Year with Mr. FreakDaRhythm and her plans to fly from Bangkok on an exact date was at this point as unclear as anyone else’s getting-out-of-Phangan plans.
Let’s see, maybe we are Lucky and she returns fast to the Freak’a’void and become another Freak’a’zoid with everyone else here.
At least for a while ..

Most of her visit here this time she was hanging out with NaQ.
It was a friend that connected her to Dj Naq.
She say about it; "We played together at Fusion Club for X-Mas when I came to Koh Samui and because he is Belgian like me, the connection between us was very easy and friendly.
He showed me Koh Samui night life and the amazing jungle with the coconuts trees and the plantations of Durian during the day!"

My stay was very short last time, only few days. Next time, I will stay for much longer. This time I played at Electronic Lounge, Hansa Resort and Loi Lay parties.

Koh Phangan remind me of Ibiza more than 15 years ago when it was still for fun, music and happiness.
People are free of all the weight and stress of western life.

There is a very responsive crowd there.
It is Party people with a musical taste that does not require us to play commercial music as in many other places.
I have a lot of fun playing here with a superb climate and magnificent views of the jungle and beaches."

What do you feel that you can bring to Phangan and the DJscene here?
"I come with my personal touch of music and my vision of experience.
Koh Phangan feedback is peaceful serenity during the day, and the night, full of energy that make you dance!"

What would you call the genre of the new tracks you are working on?
"I’m cooking Deep House music and I include all the ingredients you need to make a good dish.

I have my own label now, Patsada Records but I released already on the French label Robsoul Recordings and the English label Swing City.

This year she will continue to play around Europe and will very soon also be touring Canada.

She is currently working on a Special video diary of her Koh Samui and Koh Phangan experiences. You can watch them at youtube and on her facebook.

For now she will continue to work in the studio to create more tracks.

Do you have plans to come back to Phangan before next Xmas?
"Yes, for sure I will come back. I still have to organize that in my planning. Last time was only a preview."

Do you have any wishes you want to come true for the next year?
"I wish it remains as it is.
Heavenly, a source of peace but at the same time full of energy."

Last thoughts about Phangan DJ Life?
"I consider myself lucky to discover this island and its people. I have so much fun here.
It is imperative I go back!!"

Thank you for recommending the cartoon "grave of the fireflies" Its IS excellent! Very nice story!
We have now watched it both in cartoon with english dub and in real movie with original audio!
