Thank you for making this interview Miss. We are happy to share your story here. First though, we would like to know your Koh Phangan story. Have you been here before? It will be my first time in Koh Phangan, but I feel good vibrations there. Some nice story will be written soon...
Do you find Koh Phangan to a good place for you? Koh Phangan have a great reputation for party animals around the world. The weather and the landscape are truly beautiful.
Where is your favorite place here? I will discover it soon... The Boat Cruise Party - Winter Wonderland - sounds good! Koh Phangan looks like a little corner of paradise for many foreigners.
Born in Laos and working in Brussels. How do you compare these two places as a work platform? Europe have an older culture of Electronic music. In Asia, it is still very fresh. It will be the first time for me to Play for an Asian crowd. It will be new and interesting for me to meet the Asian Party Culture. I have spun all around Europe and America before but never Asia.
Why and when did you leave Laos (Vientiane)? I left when I was 7 years old to Belgium to begin a new life with my family.
Where and Who do you get your inspiration from? Just to name a few? From all the life experiences! I know how lucky I am to be able make music and Djing. I am inspired by so many people in so many different styles of music. My musical inspiration is mainly coming from music before 2000: Herbie Hancok, Dj Sneak, Jeff Miles, Marvin Gaye, YMO, Patrice Rushen…
What do you listen to yourself when you want to unwind? When you work all the times in music, silence is the best sound to unwind.
What are your next projects? I work on my label Patsada Records. I have plenty of new tracks that waits to be releases. I will continue my video Diaries where I share a little of my Dj life and of course working on music and performing around the world.
Do you see yourself playing on Phangan in 10 years from now? Yes sure. Koh Phangan is a great place for Electronic music. But I fell concerned about the global warming and the rising water. Let see what the future will give us.
What is your favorite cartoon? I love Japan animé a lot and particularly everything that comes out from Studio Ghibli: "Grave of the fireflies", 'Castle in the sky", "My Neighbor Totoro"…
