A magical underground cabaret full of mystery, romance, jazz, reminiscent of Shanghai 1930’s,

Maggie Choo's is the latest creation of the popular designer Ashley Sutton, the man behind the “Bookshop” and “Iron Fairie” bars. Maggie Choo’s is both a restaurant and a bar and a place never before seen in Bangkok or elsewhere. Located in a very hard spot to find, Maggie Choo's entrance is just a small old wooden Chinese door outside the Novotel .

The first room is a noodle shop filled with the smells of cooking, jade coloured tiles and Chinese paper umbrellas. Past the next door you find the bar in a large dark room complete with leather couches and ladies dressed in embroidered cheongsams. The bar itself looks like an old casino cashier counter while the rest of the décor features brick vaults with heavy steel doors, which serve as private rooms, oil paintings and busts of Queen Victoria.

Offering an extensive wine list served by the bottle and the glass as well as a selection of classic cocktails, whiskey, scotch, and champagne.

Daily music events feature live bands playing R&B, Blues, Soul and Jazz from 9:30pm onwards and DJs spinning Deep House and Nu Disco, or Hip Hop and R&B later into night. Table reservations are recommended.

Opening Hours: 18:00 - 02:00

Features: Bar Food, Best Reviewed, Business Crowd, Cocktails, Expat Popular, Imported beers, Smoking Allowed, Table Service
