Phanganist had the pleasure to speak with photographer Hans Kemp whilst he is in Bangkok.
He spent the whole month of April on Koh Phangan but has now returned to the city where he is keeping himself sane because of the COVID travel restrictions. Hans Kemp is based in Asia.
Well known for his photo books on Vietnam Hans travels the region on assignment for clients and to work on his own book projects.
We talk about his book Bikes of Burden where he photographed the fascinating bikes in Vietnam carrying all sorts of goods and his new book Divine Encounters Sacred Rituals and Ceremonies in Asia.
A wonderful man who has led an inspiring life, enjoy.
