Services on the southern routes will resume from 1 June and will include three routes: from Bangkok to Surat Thani and Ko Samui, Bangkok-Phuket, and Bangkok-Trang.
All staff are instructed to adhere strictly to personal health routines for health and safety, and to undergo fever screening before work, and to wear a surgical or cloth mask at all times while in duty. All buses must be regularly sanitized and disinfected and left under the sun for at least 1-2 hours each day after services.
In all buses and at-stop, social distancing steps are enforced with different points for standing and sitting allocated at a distance of one meter.
Passenger fever screening is applied at each railway station, and passengers with body temperatures above 37.5 degrees Celsius will be denied boarding the bus.
Passengers are required to wear a surgical or cloth mask during the entire journey and those on inter-provincial travel are required to provide personal information to allow officials to keep track of them for medical checks.
