Aerial Yoga is a mix of yoga, acrobatics and physical therapy. We use swings to enhance our range of motion, allowing us to completely relax the body, stretch deeper in different ways, and achieve difficult poses, such as backbends and inversions (hanging upside down), with little effort.
It looks difficult, but it is not!
Inversions take weight off the joints, bones, vertebra and connective discs, allowing them to stretch apart, decompress, and realign. This removes stress or pressure off the nerves, which relieves body pain.
