Koh Phangan is a gorgeous Thai island in the Southern Gulf. It is idyllic and what you would imagine a tropical paradise island to be like when you imagine one.
Apart from this island is not deserted. Inhabited by many generations of Thai island locals and people from all over the world who have made it their permanent home, some may describe Phangan as a little multicultural cosmopolitan nowadays.

And it is not too big or not too small.
The island is made up of villages such as Thong Sala, Haad Rin, Sri Thanu, Chaloklum etc and each are unique and offer their own style, vibe and way of life.
If you’re looking for that holiday feeling then stay around the resorts and bars of Thong Sala, Sri Thanu for yoga and well being, Chaloklum for Fishing and laid back lifestyle and Haad Rin for bars on the beach and holiday hotspots!
You can also find lots of outdoor sports to do on Koh Phangan such as a big choice of kitesurfing, paddleboarding, snorkeling and even a flying boat! It’s the ideal place to partake in some activities such as these and the perfect place to learn new things.
Diving is also very popular here with our close proximity to Sail Rock, a famous dive site where you may even spot a whale shark.
It doesn’t matter if you want to try just one time or you feel like going professional, we would strongly recommend experiencing diving at least one time in your life. If you try it and don’t like it at least you’ll know for sure it’s not for you; but if you do like it, which is the most probable outcome, we can assure you you’ll remember it as one of the best experiences of your life.
Pretty much everyone who spends more time than just three days on the island is surprised by just how beautiful it is. Although it is famous for its parties it would be mad not to spend a bit of time in a place to at least have a drive round and see what else is on offer.
Koh Phangan is not as developed as Koh Samui and is actually around 60% protected National Park, you can discover this nature, viewpoints, waterfalls and treks by yourself or on an island tour that shows you all the best spots.
