PACs are always working super hard to look after the island’s stray dog and cat population (they’ve also been looking after Monty the Python and newest recruit a pig!).
It’s always good to go and see this amazing work first hand and you can actually go and visit them or even volunteer!
Take a look at their newest video…
The Red Cross are holding their annual festival in Thong Sala this week with a blood donation drive on the 24th and 25th and PACs will be present on these days.
It will be an information and donation point for collecting items like old towels, cleaning products, dog and cat food, old leads and collars etc. So if you have anything you think would be of use, make sure to go and visit them. They can also answer any questions you may have.
As some of you may know, one of the major issues that PACs have is that they do not have a vet all the time and this is something they want and need to change.
They need a full time Thai vet and enough medical supplies that they can spay up to sixty animals a month which will help reduce the amount of unwanted litters born every week.
You can find out more about this project here - www.pacsthailand.com/get-a-vet-for-pacs
PACs next fundraising event, which are always fun will be on 25th September at Slip n Fly, we will keep you posted on more information regarding this.
Until then, why don’t you head down and visit them yourselves, lend a hand during your holiday to to an amazing cause on this tropical island and help some cute furry animals!
