SOLAR CONEXION & RETRO MOUNTAIN are happy to present the first Retro Mountain Festival in Koh Phangan happening this Saturday, November 21st.
Solar Conexion comes from Dava Di Toma, a DJ and producer with past experience in Ibiza and a good few years now being based on Koh Phangan. We catch up with him to find out more about the festival and why it’s important to keep on celebrating in these times.

Hi Dava, what is the concept idea of the festival?
It’s to make something to bring every kind of person together. Hopefully, everyone on the island will come together. Phangan is a family with many different people like families with kids, music lovers, party people and of course all the great artists we have here.

Why do you feel it’s important to make a festival in these times of change?
It’s important to make it now in this difficult moment, with this corona situation, to bring positive vibes and of course love. People can show their art and it will be great for them and sure great for people to see it.
We want to create this festival to bring our Phangan family together during the day, it’s free entry so everyone can come and enjoy.

What kind of music will be played and what atmosphere do you hope to create?
Music will be electronic but with a different kind of vibe with the time and moment. We will start chill to slowly and go with the flow and at night it will be full power, techno, progressive.
There will be a fashion show during the sunset and music will be more mystical for sunset lovers.
Of course in an amazing place like Retro Mountain, there will be a lot of entertainment for everybody.
