There’s a jam packed week ahead of you and you’re going to need a lot of energy to see it through to Sunday’s Full Moon Party!
This month the ‘actual’ Full Moon is on the 11th but this is a Thai Buddhist Holiday and so out of respect the Party is held one day after on the 12th. Makha Bucha Day which is on Saturday honours the time of 1250 monks gathering to hear Buddha teach.
So let’s start from Tuesday, hopefully you’ve eased yourself into the week or you have arrived to the island and what better way to celebrate than by going to Charm Beats at Charm Beach Resort in Baan Tai?!
Charm Beats is brought to you by Marco Loco and Roni Kush along with the team at Charm Beach/Goodtime Backpackers. You can head down at 3pm for a free yoga session with the lovely Jocelyn, get yourself all zen for an afternoon of relaxing or playing or eating and drinking with only the finest of chillout tunes from Marco and Roni. As the evening warms up, Star Lab Industries joins the team to jam with a live painting performance to keep your eyeballs entertained. Music, dancing and all round cool vibes continue until 10pm but they have been known to continue longer as everyone enjoys it so much!
On to Wednesday, why not visit a waterfall or go on a tour of the island? The weather is set to stay in the high twenties with (fingers crossed) no rain, so get out there and discover the beauties that this island has to offer!
After a beautiful day in the sunshine you can head to Phanganist Hostel for ‘A Night with Graham Gold’ and witness one of dance music’s legends in action right here on Koh Phangan. With nice midweek chillout vibes alongside top tunes and our bar and pool you can enjoy a nice night with friends and even meet some more.
Into Thursday you can switch it up a bit and get some balance into your new Koh Phangan party lifestyle by joining us for Total Body Pump which is a free fitness class with certified nutritionist and trainer Eva Wellness! You’ll be sure to work up a sweat with this class but Eva is a great teacher who keeps your enthusiasm going! We start at 5.30!
You’ll also have an amazing end goal in sight to get you through the fitness class which ends just before sunset as Infinity Beach Club start their daily happy hour at 6pm and go on till 9pm! You can stroll on down to this beautiful location feeling accomplished after working out and treat yourself to a nice cocktail or refreshing cold beer.
The weekend starts on Friday, woo-hoo! Hopefully you can fill your day with activities such as snorkelling or swimming in the sea, you can eat at Thong Sala food market and taste local dishes all for a good price or maybe take some yoga classes or learn to kitesurf or paddle board and now you’re ready for a party!
Drum and Bass at Phanganist Hostel is on EVERY Friday and we bring you the best in International and local DJs who all have a passion for the music they play and to continue to spread the unity of DnB and Jungle music. Expect to have an energetic dance with a super friendly atmosphere and we keep the basslines rolling until 1am!
You may be a bit tired on Saturday so why not have a lay in… Walking Street Saturday Market begins at 4pm and by then it’s a bit cooler so you can walk down the market at a gentle pace whilst snacking on many delightful foods and buying some gifts, clothes art and much more that is on offer.
Remember that this is a Buddhist Holiday today so you may find that shops, restaurants or bars won’t be serving alcohol, just to prepare you!
A break is always good though and you never have to wait too long for a party on Phangan, Jungle Experience will open its doors to you at Midnight!
This is one of the island’s best parties and you should not miss it! Expect a beautiful jungle location with art installations around, live artwork, strange yet beautiful dancers, fire shows and of course only the best in Underground House music!
You can party till the sun rises and experience the Jungle in all its glory before heading home for a sleep as Sunday is Full Moon Party Day!!
From 3pm at Phanganist Hostel we bring you our mini festival! Come and hang out, get yourself painted by professional artists, relax by or in the pool, create your Full Moon outfit and get professional make up done along to the tunes of International DJ Olympias with dance lessons and performances from talented individuals.
We’ll be enjoying the festivities with you all the way throughout the day until 8pm but seeing as Phanganist always want to surprise you with unique events we have our Lingerie Fashion Show starting then!
Warm yourself up with a sexy show brought to you with Dreams Secrets shop in Thong Sala, you can also join in if you want and become one of our models!
Then it’s time to head to Haad Rin Beach for the legendary Full Moon Party, you have to at least see it once even if you don’t want to party, thousands of neon wearing young people partying on the beach, it’s awesome!
Party until the sun comes up and be part of this spectacular event before getting a taxi home for a well earned rest from a busy busy week!
