The Koh Phangan Man

In August of 2019 we were approached by a well-known character of the island, Mark Phinney, to help him promote his event 'Koh Phangan Man'.

This splendid man arrived to our Headquarters full of joy and lust for life, with a passion for sharing the arts through his event which was heavily inspired by Burning Man and his years spent there.

As we moved to the video studio Mark had us in laughter, smoking his vape to 'calm his nerves' and even being quite shy as we filmed the interview. We scrapped the first take and moved on to a second which was much more natural.

Here is our blessed meeting with the Man himself.

Phanganist are very sad to hear of Mark's passing, a gentleman who brought a positive energy and gathered people toether on this beautiful island. It is people like Mark who really make Koh Phangan unique in the world and everywhere could do with people like this.

Our thoughts are with Mark's family and friends at this sad time.
