Mackie DjRose has been playing music for 8 years now.
He began his career at Samui’s beautiful island and have the last years been coming to Rock the Full Moon Beach and Party at Tommy Resort in Hadrin.
He has been a big hit on both Koh Samui, Koh Tao & Krabi and he is now getting to be a Phangan Star also!
Before he became DjRose he was known as DJ MakMak and as the name implies he likes to party makmak!
In 2005, without any teacher he started his adventure into music.
As he explains it himself “when I hear the sound I want to know how and why and what”
“I start to run the sound and I like the vibe a lot”
An Autodidact DJ and with that comes the sweet new crisps! Untouched by any real active or direct influence. He is his Own!

With Techno Trance Progressice Electro Sounds they Kept the Full Moon Crowd full dancing and happy to the last tune!!
DjRose was just back here to play at this Full Moon also on the third Oct. at the Tommy Resort.
He had a full schedule for his single night here!
He went to play for the Psy Trance Tommy stage from 8 pm to midnight and again at the Rock Bar from 3am to 6 in the morning!
When Phanganist talked to him he was in Koh Tao to play at the Ac Bar on Sairee Beach.
The Ac Bar is one of Mackie’s projects also.
He just currently opened this bar and – as we hoped – we will surely get to hear much more from his musical library there!
Mackie plays a wicked Tech, Deep, Funky House with Hip Hop mixes and Hard Techno!
It is quite a special mix – so get ready to dig your ears and soul into Mackie’s Musical Idea’s when he is around for the Next Full Moon or treat yourself to a trip to the Beautiful Koh Tao to check out his Sound is his own newly opened Bar!
