Koh Phangan
The biggest monthly rave in SEA celebrates every New Year having a special Full Moon style party on Haad Rin beach, as same as in every month but much bigger and bussier, with Fireworks, special shows, Bikini contest and many other special events.
Check out the 2014 New Year movie to get some of the excitement and joy of the young happy party people on Haad Rin during the party.
The bikini contest, Miss Haad Rin, is a competition, hosted by Dani V that run for few years now and combines the contest and live performances such as Thai Traditional dancing, Muay Thai and Live music. Miss Haad Rin was expanded, since last year, and now it includes Mr. Haad Rin as well. The competition is open for all and you can register before via Phanganist website or in Haad Rin few days before the event (more detail will appear few weeks before the event).
The main parties on Koh Phangan celebrates as well the New Year event and on their parties on this week there are extra shows, fire dancers and costumes and top charts DJs.
