suduaya dj phangan party ban sabaiiSuduaya has been in contact with music since childhood.
His first musical experiences were with the violin and the welknown guitar but also drums and piano was tried out.

Composing was an early compassion too.
In 2003 Suduaya found the Psy Trance music thanks to DJ Zaag, (Shehoor MMD Records) and LeDruide from Fantasy Rec.

On Morphonic Records album 3rd Psyside from 2006 the recorded guitars on “Anomaly in Your Brain” was all recorded by Suduaya.

The first chillout album “Beyond Galaxies” from 2009 was released in Digital by Aboriginal Recordings.

2011 was the year where the first Progressive Track was out. Released on Klopgeister’s compilation “Stand up again gravity” ( Lono Music )
Same year the Album “Dreaming Sun" was released from Altar Records.

After these busy years Suduaya is always on the road.
Performing at Spirit Base Festival, Spiritual Healing Festival, Somuna, Transylvania Calling and so on.
That didn’t mean the end to productions though. New tracks was still being released on different labels such as Ovnimoon Records, Uxmal Records and Synergitic.

Thank you for sharing your story with Phanganist!
Maybe a small introduction to your Koh Phangan connection would be nice?

“I got a booking at The Experience Festival, in Koh Tao and decided to spend some time in Koh Phangan before the Party to meet the crew.”

“I didn't know the place before. This is was also my first trip to Thailand and I was looking forward to reach the Psytrance parties.”

You can surely say that he reached the PsyTrance parties!suduaya phangan party ban sabaii
Ban sabaii had the Luck of his vibes two times now already. Both at the Christmas Day party and at The Experience Festival After Party!
The Experience Festival crew were  the ones who made sure to get Suduaya’s Vibes on the dance floor in the first place and this they surely didn’t regret.

With same concept as Phangans (other) Guitar Hero Lars Lee - DJ Suduaya is Rocking the Crowd with a bit of e-guitar on top of his Trancey-Tones, thus creating his own unique sound.

Which music did you bring in your record bag for Phangan?
“I played mostly my new productions, some released and unreleased tracks, but also few of my first album “Dreaming Sun”.
I also chose some tracks from my new side project called “Aiodaya”, a duo with the Austrian producer Aioaska. We joined recently the German label BMSS records.”

When home alone and in chill mood Suduaya listens to Ambient Solar Fields, which he claims is a magician.
He grew up with Psychedelic Rock from the 70’s, Heavy Metal from the 80’s and US Hip Hop. This can still be in the earphones on a relaxing unwinding day.
Reggae is a favourite too. He remembers days where the band “Midnite” hooked him up!
Spiritual Music is also to find in his record bag. Hindu, Mantras or Buddhist chants for meditative moments.
He thinks that traditional folk music is interesting, especially the middle-east and the Balkans.

suduaya phangan party dj ban sabaiiRegarding PsyTrance, he feels there are so many amazing producers and just to mention of the favourites he would say Sonic Species, U-Recken, Zen Mechanics, Relatic, Middle Mode or Lyctum.

With all these favourites, where do you feel you get most inspiration from?
“Love is our essence and I want to explore it with sounds. I wish to evolve constantly, and spiritually, and hope that my music reflects it.”

Now after staying now on Koh Phangan for a while it is Ban Sabii that is remembered as the most welcoming place. The time spend in Ban Sabaii has been good and so warmly welcoming that he is looking forward to returning soon again!

DJ Boom Shankar & AlexSoph from BMSS Records are together with Suduaya currently touring  Asia until mid-march.
They have upcoming gigs in both Cambodia and Malaysia. After this they will be back to Europe.

The Summer will kick off with a Tour at Transition Festival (Spain) and continue with Forest Star (Sweden), Life Celebration (Croatia), S.U.N. Festival (Hungary), Summer Never Ends (Switzerland) just to name a few of the next ones in the Summer Tour.

What about Phangan then? Do you see yourself playing on Phangan in 10 years from now or where do you see yourself then?
“I Hope so!
It is such a nice place with happy people!
I wish that it stays that friendly and if it does - for sure in 10 years, I’ll be there !
To say where do I see myself...even in 10 months I don't know...but obviously still with a guitar and a computer in my hands!”

What makes you laugh?

"I will answer by who makes me laugh, so you can have an idea of what makes me laugh; Jim Carey. Perfect combo of craziness and emotions.  Especially in his early crazy movies but as well in the other “serious” ones, he is great.

As a DJ you get quite a lot of funny requests. What is the strangest question anyone ever asked you?
“I can't understand some people that are asking (or yelling)  during parties ”Faster!” …  it happens to me and probably to other guys, but c'mon...when you come to a party, you should know where you go...and we are not Jukeboxes...Whatever, for me PsyTrance is not about the BPM speed, it's about the vibe, the groove, the feeling.”

Suduaya is not only Psy Trance'a'delic or Progressive. He has a very nice collection of ambients tracks also:

Suduayas advice for life is to “Follow your dreams and don't give up.
The Universe will always offer you your deepest desires! We are all united and this is what makes it work!”
