16 Aug 2020

The newly launched eco-tourism campaign is aimed at taking domestic visitors to the fantastic beaches of Pattaya and other areas in Thailand.

Thailand's Tourism Authority has recruited 300 bloggers and social media influencers to help advertise eco-tourism attractions around the country.

The Aug 13 seminar at Mello Garden Restaurant in Bangkok organized by Nithee Seeprae, the southern area director of TAT.

The TAT campaign emphasizes the beauty of natural tourist spots by showing the natural scenery and supporting responsible tourism promotion to protect the natural resources of Thailand.

Influencers have brainstormed ideas about special tourist attractions, diving them into groups of unique trees and rivers, sea, sunsets and sunrises, flowers, and fauna.

Through September, the bloggers will write and post about the various attractions.

At the same time, TAT has created "I Miss Nature" price discount with Traveloka online booking website providing discounts for hotels in Krabi, Phang-nga, Phuket, Koh Samui, and Koh Phangan to the Bangkok Bank credit card customers.

Thais and tourists are welcomed to enjoy the beauty of southern Thailand.

The campaign is expected to boost domestic travel by at least 20,000 tourists and increase the income from tourism by at least 70 million baht.
