Good news for Israelies who would like to fly back from Thailand to Israel, and for other nationalities who want to visit the country on their way home.
Israel placed Thailand on the "green countries" list. Passengers traveling from Thailand will not be needed to stay in quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
Thailand is one of 21 countries listed as 'green' by Israel, together with Australia, Norway, Singapore, and Portugal.
The decision was taken at midnight on 30th August. They will update the list every two weeks.
As for traveling from Israel to Thailand, that might take a while more.
Thailand gates are still closed at the moment for international tourism. There are plans discussed regards opening the borders in October, but as for now, the proposal was not fully approved yet.
