Sutthipong Klaudom, the Deputy Governor of Suratthani came today to Koh Phangan in order to open a thermo-scan checkroom in Thong sala Pier. The checkroom was donated by First Westen Koh Phangan and cost 300,000 baht.
At the press conference, the deputy governor stated that Koh Phangan is COVID-19 free and that gives confidence that Koh Phangan phangan island has a strong protection system.
The Province also promised to support the construction of a new service building for Koh Phangan Hospital as the current building was built 32 years ago.
During the afternoon Khun Prajak, Khun Nimita and Khun Siripan from Thanawanichnam family donated 270,000 Thb to the Koh Phangan Hospital Foundation to support the fight against COVID-19.
