Thanks to generous anonymous donators (10,500 thb so far), the volunteers from Koh Phangan, Thai and farangs bought food for distribution in Haad Rin.
Today was the first round of food delivery to the Burmese community in Haad Rin, as many of them face difficult conditions.
if someone on the island wants to drop something more, it will be great, especially boxed milk for children (3+ years old).
Today food includes 11 kg. of dried chicken, 20 packs of organic eggs, 50 kg. of Morning glory, 50 kg. of tangerine, 108 bottles of fish sauce, 120 bottles of palm oil, 100 kg. of rice.
2 pick up trucks from Frederic Collin and Gweg Chass plus Namfon car went together to Haad Rin around 12 o'clock.
They distributed door to door and stopped at spots where they are easily reachable.
Do not hesitate to share this information with your Burmese friends.
If there will be leftovers, it will be dropped at another distribution point.
The intention is also to support local farms and shops as part of the effort to support the Phangan economy.
