Number Two - Get Painted in Neon!
You must have seen all the photos by now, of the famous Neon body painting from the Full Moon Party! This also happens prior to other parties here on the island so don’t worry if you miss the actual Full Moon, you can still get painted up!
Neon paint really is part of the full moon party scene here and a bit like a right of passage to do before you hit the beach to dance all night.
Many hostels will offer you paint to do yourself but there are also professional body painters with stalls and an array of beautiful designs to choose from. You can find these artists on the way in to Haad Rin for the Full Moon Party and at most other big events on the island.
If you want to paint yourself and get creative at any time then you can find the neon paint in a lot of shops here. Try the 20 Baht shops, the places that sell all sorts of things, you’ll see them.
