Welcome to Koh Phangan, so how do you like it so far?
Well this island has something special, the feeling with the people is different to other places, it’s a very nice island, quiet but you can also find good parties.
I have fallen in love already with Phangan.
So what have you been up to before you came here?
I was doing something that I never did before, I spent one month in Vietnam like a temporary resident. Before Vietnam I was in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
What got you into djing?
Of course the love for the music and when I discovered how happy and how many feelings I can give to the people it got me addicted, after all, it is a passion.
What have been some of your standout gigs of last year?
This question is not easy because in one year I have lots of great gigs but if I have to choose, my favourites are in my residence in La Terrrazza, Barcelona in the summer time.
What do you think of the Ibizan party scene compared with Phangan?
I’m not the best to answer this question because I live in Barcelona and it’s only my second time in Phangan but as I see it, ibiza is like the capital of the party, with some of the biggest clubs of the world and the biggest djs names.
Phangan is smaller but with the feeling that I got when I went to Ibiza for the first few times, it is totally different.
You are playing at Jungle Experience on the 13th, what have you heard and are you looking forward to it?
I’m so excited about that date because I have seen vídeos and I have been talking with djs that have played already and all of them have told me that I’m gonna enjoy it like crazy!
I’m sure that in this case it is the same feeling as Ibiza, just people that really want to enjoy the music. I’m proud to play there and especially as this time I will be sharing the line up with Andy (Baxter) and Ken (Fan).
What will you bring to the party that is unique?
Mmmm...my energy, my desire to enjoy and make other people enjoy.
What is your producing style?
I’m producing in the day time and actually I like to produce Techno and Deep House, those are my favourite styles right now.
What are your main projects for this year?
Well the year has started already and since the beginning I have been in Asía touring, so when I’m back home this is when I am really going to start the year.
But at the moment I can tell you that I have good feelings about my last and next tracks and I’m going to do a collaboration with a few good names and as for djing, I can’t wait for the summer time to be back in my lovely La Terrrazza.
What would you say to aspiring djs?
The same as for a normal life, work hard and have respect, especially for the crow and the djs that like me, are working as professionals for many years
And what is your life philosophy?
My philosophy is, no music, no life...
