The great variety of ocean resources is growing more and more abundant in the Gulf of Thailand as human activities were paused during the COVID-19 outbreak normally exploiting the sealife.
On Sunday scuba divers from Ban’s Diving came across a 3 to 4-meter long whale shark at Koh Tao in Surat Thani province, swimming around the Hinbai diving site. The remarkable whale shark is the second such shark discovered recently near Koh Tao, Surat Thani province.
A scuba diving coach close to Koh Tao captured the footage. The diver discovered this whale shark 18 meters down in the gulf and was swimming with a Black Kingfish band. The whale shark was called DOT, possibly 4 meters long, since it had many spots on its body.
Amazing dives today with a Whale Shark and many fishes at Sail Rock, Koh Tao! 😍 Another Ban’s Sail Rock trip is coming...
