From Monday the 10th of April to Sunday the 16th, you can expect an epic week on Koh Phangan! Not only is the monthly Full Moon taking place on the 11th but Thailand’s New Year takes place on the 13th as well as many other special events that week!
It is well worth staying for the week, not running off to somewhere else so quickly!
So let’s start from the beginning, Monday the 10th will be Jungle Experience Party with headliner DOORLY! This party is one of the best on the island with a magical jungle location and creative performers making this experience unlike any other!

Tuesday the 11th is Full Moon Day! You’ve got time to get over your hangover, chill by the pool or beach then get ready for the long night ahead!
Paint yourselves and get dressed up in neon and then you can enjoy Phanganist’s one of a kind fashion show from 8pm of designer ‘Flura Natura’, amazing creations to get you in the fluorescent mood before heading to Haad Rin for the party of a lifetime!
Wednesday the 12th is chill day… Or you can go to the best after party ever that is Backyard!!
Then it’s Songkran!! Thursday the 13th of April is one of the best days of the year here in Thailand, to sum it up it is one big water fight!! The pouring of water symbolises the cleansing of the spirit, mind and body.The water is also supposed to wash away bad luck - so consider yourself blessed if you get drenched!
Luckily and Happily Songkran falls during the hottest time of the year and cold water sprinkles are a welcome relief.
Here at Phanganist Hostel we are having a foam party! We’ve got DJ Giant from Dop In Bar playing Deep House and Tech House from 10am till late, expect to get wet wherever you go on Koh Phangan!
Later on in the night you can party until the morning at Waterfall Party!
On Friday the 14th Phanganist Hostel has special guests VIBE SOUNDSYSTEM coming to bring you a night of Dub, Steppas, Jungle and Drum and Bass! Expect great vibes of course and the best in Bass Music which you cannot find anywhere else on the island!
