Zenso Duo are the partnership and real life couple of Miss Gloriosa and DJ Zensonova, they arrived on Koh Phangan this March for the first time and will play at Phanganist Hostel on Friday 5th May.
Having already carved out a career in music with appearances on many radio channels all around the world such as IN/ON, More Bass, BRB, Techno Paradize, Saphire Nightflight Radio and Music Galaxy Radio. They also now have a residence in Berlin on Spreegroove Radio.
Zenso Duo will play at Phanganist Hostel on Friday 5th of May, we caught up with them to find out more…
Hi, so why did you leave France?
To change our lives, to find a new life in the sun that’s fresh with parties and that holiday feeling.

Did you two meet through music?
Zensonova began to DJ 20 years ago on turntables and is also a percussionist then he taught me (Miss Gloriosa) how to mix on turntables also.
DJ Zensonova also participated in the National DJ academix competition in Perpignan and came 3rd out of 200 Djs.
What’s your style together and separate?
Techno together with 2 sets of decks, like a battle. We have our styles also like Minimal, Deep and Tech House.
What inspired you?
Zensonova saw a DJ at a club for the first time which gave him inspiration to learn, he went to see other DJs play and taught himself.
How is it working together as a couple?
In the beginning we played alone and then later we tried to develop and created another idea, there’s not a lot of paired DJs and not a lot of couples either.
How have been your gigs on Koh Phangan so far?
We have played at Moonhouse, Mellow Mountain, Echo Bar, Chill Up and Infinity Boiler Beach.
It’s more easy to play here than in France, everything is in good proximity. Phangan is a party island, every day is a party where as in France it is only on weekends and it’s not the same people, it’s more crazy here.
You’ll play Phanganist Hostel on May the 5th, what will you do?
Bring some motivation and feel with the people. Also our technical style, we want to show our technique.
What are your plans for the rest of the year?
To find work here and bookings. To do production also and meet new people. Maybe organise events with others as this is what we have done before in France.
