One Voice, One Guitar, One Mission - Maxi Rai at Phanganist

Phanganist's Bry0 sits down for a little chat with her mate Maxi Rai, musician, songwriter and a little lady with a big voice.

Maxi Rai is visiting Koh Phangan and you have the chance to join her for an intimate chilled night of music tomorrow (Thursday 18th January) at Phanganist Hostel.

'One voice, one guitar, one mission. Maxi Rai's music encompasses modern day, soulful 'Anti-Folk', with a Bristolian twist. 
These original combinations of wordplay and poetic real life stories, with a backdrop of acoustic guitar give a rhythmic undefinable style of music... Which alongside a BIG voice ("for a little person"!) promises to generate a whole lot of feeling.'

If you want to join us on Thursday we'll have an open mic too so feel free to show off your own musical skills, just turn up!

We'll start at 8pm with Open Mic till 9.30pm

Maxi Rai will then enchant you with her storytelling prowess and impress you with her 'big voice for a little person' music till 10.30...
