This week Fisherman’s Restaurant and Bar are celebrating their 10 year birthday.
Opened in 2007 by local resident Khun Thanaphorn known as Lek, together with his Irish wife Amanda in Ban Tai then relocating 2012 just a few metres close by.
Lek built the restaurant with his father formerly a local fisherman using all natural materials and converting his family fishing boats into seating. The unique surroundings, soft lighting, and rustic design create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere that perfectly complements the food.
Using the freshest local ingredients and no msg has been their philosophy from the beginning with a focus on fresh local crab.
Over time they have developed an extensive wine menu and recently an on trend cocktail menu with some very interesting ingredients, a must try!!! Not forgetting to mention their yummy desserts all of which can also be enjoyed at their beach bar for those not wishing to dine where they host events with live music and dj’s during high season.
