So Nina what's your Koh Phangan Story?

I arrived here two and a half years ago and joined the vibes of the island and the people.

I was impressed by Koh Phangan parties and its music and I began to learn the art of DJing and began to play parties in Thailand.

My work then spread to big parties and venues in Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui and Russia. I took part in Gypsy Carnaval and in World Party Travel festival.

I’m officially a DJ of AviaSales, but at the moment I decided to take a break and focus on a new project.

This is always a bad question for a DJ but we have to ask - whats your favourite type of music?

This island opened my eyes on Techno, Deep and Tech House.

It makes me feel content and I try to tell my story with this music.

What are you currently up to?

At the moment I’m taking a break from DJing and dedicating myself to a new project.

I have began to take advantage of the daytime on the island to enjoy the beaches and to enjoy the activities that the daytime has to offer.

It’s important to keep yourself fit and healthy.

Where are you spending your time on the island?

My favourite beaches to hang out on are Haad Tien and at Seaboard Bungalows in Haad Yao, I love the clean water and the soft sands and being in a peaceful environment.

So What is next for Nina Catcher?

I am currently getting into organising parties and events on the island and looking to make the island better with designs and structure of the parties to make these as successful as possible.

Also I’m working on a new project that you’ll know about in high season.

Even though I’m not DJing regularly now I still hit the decks for certain places.

I want to say thank you to everyone who supported me on my way of DJing; my friends from Seaboard Bungalows (Phangan), Son F Beach (Samui), KC Beach (Samui), Glow (Bangkok), Live RSA (Bangkok) and many others.

Any advice for people visiting the island?

My advice for people coming to the island is that at first you see the island as a party place but make sure take advantage of everything the island has to offer as this island opens your mind to things you have not seen or been involved with before.

Koh Phangan will show you what person you really are.

And finally your life philosophy?

My life Philosophy is make the right choices and most of all be happy....

Phanganist enjoyed meeting Nina and wish her all the best for the future as a none DJ although we hope we hear her hit the decks at some point again in the future.
