Hey Randy! How's you? So what have you been up to since we last saw you in August last year?
Time goes so fast but I'm so happy to be returning to the magic island.

Since August, I have continued my residency at Avalon and hit the road with Infected Mushroom having played all over the US and Canada. Also been busy in the studio...So far 2016 has been productive!

How was the tour with Infected Mushroom?
So good. The crowds are always insane and playing with IM gives me the flexibility to play bigger tunes that I don't typically get to play at underground parties, so it's a fun balance.

Biggest perk of touring is eating good food from all over.

So you're playing Jungle Experience on the 21st, we know you love it so what new stuff will you bring?
I'm very excited to be a part of this heavy line up with solid acts in the House scene who I respect a lot.

In the past I've often played more progressive but this time I have some great fun House tunes I'm eager to drop. Will be a groovy night!

It's Phanganist's six year anniversary, any special words for us and Sharon?
Incredible milestone and massive congrats! I'm a big fan of the work Phanganist does, showcasing Koh Phangan to the world, and giving artists like me an avenue to be seen.

Thank you for the support over the nearly four years I have been coming to Phangan. To many many more!

So what are your main projects for this year, going anywhere nice?
I've been busy at work in the studio, signing tracks to Weekend Music, Intricate, Spring Tube, Easy Summer and Noise Control. Also been collaborating on a song with Jungle's Marco Loco. Trying to make this a productive year in the studio!

And what did you think of the Phangan party scene last time you were here, any local djs that did it for you?
I have big love for all the DJs on Phangan, from locals to expats, they all bring a special skill and vibe to the table and they are extremely consistent, in terms of quality.

If I were to name names there would be too many, but I'm grateful for the friendship and inspiration of the Phangan Djs who I've been fortunate enough to play with.

And what would you say to aspiring djs wanting to play in Asia or worldwide?
Never give up, and always do music for the passion. The only way your dreams won't come true is if you stop working toward then.

We've had your life philosophy (work hard, play hard), this time tell us your 'music philosophy'....
It's all about the journey.
