Hello Randy, welcome back! You are becoming quite a regular at Jungle Experience, what will you bring this time on the 15th?
Jungle has created a solid house and techno brand, and I'm honored to be a part of that! I’m looking forward to playing some of my favorite new tech house and tribal rompers... I’m going to bring some chugging choons to the jungle!
How have you seen Jungle Experience grow?
Jungle has grown not only in terms of size, but also with production and sound. When I first started playing the DJ booth was on the same level as the crowd, and there were no major visual components such as projections.
Now, I love playing in the elevated lion's mouth, it’s a much better view of the massive crowd getting down to quality house music! Also there are many more bars now, so that's a big plus too!
Do you get much time to enjoy the island when you're here?
Yes, there’s nothing I like more than taking it easy on the island. I like going for massages, eating tasty local food, taking a scooter around the island, and seeing my friends here who I don't get to see often.
What are your plans for Christmas and New Year?
Well I'm just finishing a 5-week Asia tour with 10 shows, so when I get back to LA, I'll spend the winter in my studio working on more productions as well as playing at my Avalon residency in Hollywood. I have upcoming releases on Magik Muzik, Intricate, and Easy Summer, so I want to keep the momentum going!
And when will you be back....?
Hopefully early next year! I can't spend too long away from the magic island. See you in the Jungle!
