Aaaaah Finally home again!! Back home on Phangan !

How come so many people find their home on Phangan?
What is so amazing about this island that no other place afterwards really measure up to the Phangan standards?

And it is not even just because we can afford it. NooOoo haha, most of us have to FIND or invent ways to support our stay here, but we do not care, we just want to stay. Nothing more important to us, than to find the solution for how we can stay longer or just never really leave.

WHAT is it with this island? Why does no body ever want to go home again?

I cannot speak for everyone but I can tell you guys, that for me it is very simple! Everything I love is here. Collected on one island. And not only that, the Phangan community is something very special. You can compare it to communites on Bali or in Goa, but it is still its very own vibe.

It all comes together here. Yoga is for me connected to Trance, which is again connected to family, which connects me to awareness of my surroundings, which leads me straight back to spirituality, which takes me back over again the Trance Dance,  My family, my community, my awareness and round and round we go again! It is a merry go roundabout, this island and I love it!

And how convenient that lots and lots of like minded people seems to have the same idea as me. So we meet up here on Phangan, all of us. Enrol ourselves in smaller communities with either main focus on partying, detoxing, healing, chilling or simply being with others in a similar "bubble". When we have enough of the heat in the summertime, we collect our stuff for a few months and meet up in Europe, all along the trance festivals there. Take a few months of caravanning from party to party, re-connecting with lost families and start to set up the way in which we will support our next season on Phangan. After a few months Europe is cold again and the festivals with the markets and shops, which many earn their next season from, are finished are over again - and we all head towards Asia again.

Our big Goa family will go back home to India while our Phangan family will meet up here again for another roundabout.

Except maybe we are getting lazy. The idea was to change the world. So hopefully the majority of us will also use the energy that we collect here to implement it in our own small villages where we come from. Or start other communities in other places where people are asking for change as well and apply the idea of a better world to the real world also. Awareness of the environment, new ways of thinking in general, different ways of living. Let us hope we can spread the vibe to the real world too!

A new high season is coming, with lots of parties, lots of people and lots of connecting, waking up, hanging out, chilling, beaching, dancing, laughing and loving with aaaaaall the Phangan family, in which most of us really really feel more at home than any original family )) 

And me?
Wow I am the most lucky potato in the whole world.
I live in my friend's beautiful house with my 6 dogs. Which both would be impossible to do where I come from. - and every day I do only things I love. One of them be writing ;)

So what is it?
Why does no one ever want to go home?
The sun?
The beaches?
The parties?
The freedom?
The vibe?
The people?

Why does no one ever want to go hoooooome ???

Because we feel home here! Because we feel everything is possible here! Because we feel love and connected here! - from other likeminded, from others searching for freedom, love and harmony ?
