Recently, some of our dear friends have had an accident on their bike, luckily not serious but it just goes to show that even the most experienced drivers can never really know what is around the corner.
A lot of the roads on Koh Phangan have hazards such as cracks, bumps, sand and falling debris which can be very dangerous.
Also, you never know how other people may be driving, there are drunk people at busy times and lots of taxis over taking and people pulling out at different turns etc etc we could go on and on...
Fact of the matter is; you should be wearing a helmet.
Wearing a helmet will protect you if you have a fall or crash etc. Don’t ruin that beautiful head of yours whilst on this reality of dreams that is Koh Phangan!
Now we know that for some reason it has been seen to be ‘un-cool’ to wear a helmet but would you rather have messy hair or a messed up face?!
