Photographer Tor has been in Koh Phangan for three years after leaving his home city of Bangkok to come and enjoy the atmosphere of island life and grow his photography career.
‘I like to take photos from the viewpoints here and of the sea’.
Tor learnt his craft when he was fourteen years old on a film camera with a friend who was very good so became his teacher.
‘I look for things to photograph and the views, it is what makes me happy. I like to travel to take photos and go to many places on and off the island which I enjoy’.
Tor has a passion for nature and landscapes and often goes to Thong Sala Pier to take pictures of the boats and sunsets.
‘I like the feeling you get from a sunset, usually around 6pm on Koh Phangan’.
The camera used is a Canon 450D although Tor has eight cameras in total, all of which are Canon but different types.
And what does he do in his free time?
‘I’m always taking photos but I look on the internet for inspiration and to keep learning. I like to take the motorbike with my wife and travel around the island and look about.
Places like the Utopia viewpoint and to go for food, especially ice cream!’.
Tor is available and has experience in wedding photography, events, parties, bungalow photography, school graduations and functions.
