After the district office meeting today it has been confirmed that The Full Moon Party for November 15th 2016 is going ahead as usual.
The staff at the bars on the beach will be working hard through these tough times to make sure the party is on as usual, and it was a very difficult decision to make as everyone is still very upset and emotional.
However due to the impact on local businesses, and the people who have already made reservations for the November FMP, it was decided to allow the party to continue.
Phanganist asks everyone to remember the Country is still in mourning due to the passing of the late great King Rama IX. This decision has not been made without many meetings to decide what is the right thing to do for Thailand and the Thai people.
We know all Phanganist readers and everyone who is visiting the island for the party will have a great time but will still respect what The Country and its People are going through.
