Sitting in Haad Rin in Mr. K Restaurant 2. The first one is probably the snack bar facing the road right next to this one.
The option to name both places same probably was declined by the management and the day the second shop has been purchased they decided that for this restaurant they should think of a new name.
Usually I go across the street to Mama Schnitzel, mostly because I just use to, but the reporting duty I am obligated to, enhanced by my adventurous spirit, and Jensen and I sitting in Mr. K and experiencing late brunch or may it be called lunch.
The restaurant is divided with 3 lines of tables and a 60 inch LCD showing episodes from Family guy, which is preferred, as I have enough from Friends. The waiters were courteous and waiting duration was reasonable.
I, who have no weakness for Thai food and on the other hand having a big room in my heart for burgers, chose to follow that with cheese and French fries.
At first look the dish seemed fine, the roll was big and fresh, vegetables (lettuce, tomato and cucumber) variety, but then the burger was a bit small.
Jensen ordered Deep Fried Tempura Shrimp which was very delicious according to his taste, which is of a drunken, that partied all night long, eating nothing and drinking a lot of beers.
Its important to mention that there were more then a few other customers in the restaurant that looked very satisfied with their meals, testifying that this restaurant has some good dishes.
The prices were in range.
From there we continued, walking down the main street to the beach. The tide was very high and the sky grey. Tourists sitting close to each other on the narrow beach stripe the sea leave. Jensen drinks some more beers continuing his party mood and I get some beers and dream about being a rock star.
