Alright, so last week’s rains had the Ninja camp hunkered down and laying low, but we came out with a bang for jungle! It was a pretty incredible event, with a team we could only nail down for one night. Sometimes when you’re lucky the stars align just right and something magic happens.
We were joined by two Argentinean jugglers David and Vii as well as Hero, Ninja 4 rents Japanese branch. It was an awesome show, hope you enjoyed your night as much as we enjoyed putting it on!

It seems like everything is a blur all the sudden, I can’t believe its time for class again. We have a good core group coming together and it’s nice to see progress happening!

?? Question of the week??

How long did it take you to learn? (asked by some guy in a guy fawks mask at the last jungle)
So I have been practicing for maybe six years now, but only the last 2 really seriously. I moved to fire very quickly maybe less then a week from when I first picked up the poi, I think it’s good to start fire early as it gets the fear out of the way. That said only simple tricks, like spin in a circle and maybe a weave or two.  The first three tricks tend to be the hardest in the beginning. But after that you progress very quickly once you understand how the prop works. I think in a week or two an average player (training consistently) can learn enough to impress their friends at a BBQ. Developing your stage presence takes a bit longer and it gets easier as you gain confidence with your tricks.

Have a burning question inside of you and want to let out? Think it could be the next question of the week?   Drop a line in the comments and let us know what’s up.  Until next time Keep spinning, see you at the next show!
