What is your Bangkok story?
Even though I do not live in Bangkok I have attended lots of art events there and what I like about visiting is I get to know fellow artists, to chat and exchange ideas which gives us the opportunity to do fun collaborations together. Also  many of my favorite artists live and do art shows in Bangkok. So I really like the atmosphere of the art movement that makes me feel energized and inspired.

Tell us a bit about your artistic background....

I was studying animation media in university and I’m very interested in character design. I need to bring my characters and message out publicly. So I chose to paint them on products like sneakers, clothing, toys and accessories.
People who like art in general can stop by and watch or if they like, they can get them and wear them around. The idea to work publicly made me interested in Street art and I started experimenting in 2011.

How would you explain your style?

Character designs, anime like, which almost all the time has a girl as the main character.

What are your influences?

Since I was young I was influenced by animation and comic books both Asian and Western style. Almost always, my favorite character was a girl and I started drawing them. Also since primary to high school I was studying in Girls School.
I love drawing all of my friends as characters and telling each friends story of that moment through drawing. It becomes a memo without words. Now I also draw other characters, but my girls are still the number one characters that express my thoughts the best.

You have an event at Chomp along with other artist's next year, tell us about this...

I’m very pleased to be part of this event and excited to meet twenty nine of the street artists who I follow online. It would be fun if we can do a mini collaboration wall.
I hope people who are passing by or anyone interested in art would not hesitate to come and join us. I look forward to see everybody there.

What are your current projects?

I have done custom work since 2007 and next year I plan to open ‘Annatar official studio’ in Chiang mai, Thailand. And I am preparing for my first solo exhibition.

What projects or collaborations would you like to do in the future?

I need to explore as much as possible in street art or any kind of art that attracts me.

What do you think of the Thailand art scene?

I think people are thinking more positive about street art. And for artists both from the new and old generation to keep doing their art and support each other so it’s a good atmosphere and fun to be in this movement.

What do you do in your spare time?

If I have free time I go and practice spray painting on the back wall of my house. And my mother loves it. The wall changes colour every week

What is your life philosophy?

Keep on trying with what you love to do, it’s going to be worth it. Also work hard but don’t forget to have fun, including those around who love you.
