The country of Thailand and it’s people have been in mourning for 30 days for its beloved King Rama IX and the people and community remain very sad and upset but the Full Moon Party is back on tonight!

After a very busy and fun night at Jungle Experience last night where partygoers were finally able to dance off some energy, tonight sees the return of the world famous Full Moon Party on Haad Rin beach here on Koh Phangan.

The main pier of Thong Sala has been getting busier and busier during the last week with hundreds upon hundreds of tourists arriving to come and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.

Resorts have gone from just having a handful of guests to all of them being pretty much full to the brim in just a space of hours.

Guests to the island are bound to be in for a treat with tonight's party and all of the parties after it, energy is at an all time high and after a month of no parties, even the locals are excited to get back to the dancefloor and enjoy the special magic that makes this island so wonderful.

We hope that everyone will have a happy and safe Full Moon but with that said the roads are busier, stay safe, don’t drink drive, don’t drive at all if you are inexperienced and be more aware than you have ever been! Whether driving or not.

There will be a special ceremony on Haad Rin beach for King Rama IX before the party at 7pm, tourists and visitors to the island should still be very respectful towards the Thai people and know what great lengths they have gone to to make this party happen in the most sad of times.

This is turning out to be one of the busiest Novembers in the last few years on Koh Phangan which is a welcome relief for local businesses and the beautiful community here so please enjoy, stay safe and experience the magic of this paradise island, Koh Phangan.
