2 May 2020 -- An update from the Thai government regarding Thailand's #COVID19 situation, reporting from the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) at Government House.

Corona Virus status in Thailand - May 2nd

• New cases = 6
• Deaths = 0
• Total cases = 2,966
• Total cured = 2,732
   

HIGHLIGHTS: 

• Persons who wish to travel to another province must go through checkpoints. As each province may have different rules, some may use the standard regulations from CCSA, but some may apply stricter rules. So please plan ahead and check with the provincial administration for the specific details before traveling, and avoid unnecessary travel.
• Alcoholic beverages are allowed to be sold from 3 May, but only takeaway purchases and customers must consume it at their own home. Gathering for drinking in the public is not allowed.
