What is your Koh Phangan story?
I visited the island four years ago with my brother whilst backpacking. I was sucked back in a year later by chance by becoming involved in Ku Club and the rest is history.

Asia was never on my list but since becoming involved I've never looked back

What got you into DJing?
Tape packs, my early raving days and just sheer love for the music. Making a crowd move and being able to control their emotions through music...there's nothing else like it.

Where and how did you learn?
I learnt the hard way, I was fourteen years old and spent hours and hours learning to mix UK Garage and Drum'n'Bass on a set of Technics 1200s in my garage.

No sync button, no pitch on an LCD display, just a needle and a pitch control. There's still no better way in my eyes, but you have to move with the times

Where have you played on Phangan and elsewhere?
I've held residencies in Ibiza, the UK and played a few clubs in Australia. But to date, Ku Club has been my only spot on Koh Phangan so far.

That however is set to change in 2016 across Thailand and South East Asia...I'm excited, keep a look out.

Your family run Ku Club, what is the concept behind it?
To bring exactly what was needed to the island - a fresh and dynamic clubbing experience.

Ku Club consistently hosts the most current and highly regarded DJs from all over the world across all genres of dance music. From Drum'n'Bass to Deep House to UK Garage and Techno; we promote it all and host the hottest artists at the club. Our reputation is getting stronger every year and we are thankful for everyone who has attended our events and supported the club from day one.

What do you think makes Ku Club special?
Being able to play the final set of the night whilst watching the sun rise and walking straight onto the beach. And our special Ku Club ravers obviously.

What are your projects for 2016?
Getting my music signed after spending some hard time in the studio over the last twelve months and building more of a name for myself on the islands. We have one rather large project on the horizon but you need to watch this space for that one

What do you do in your free time on Koh Phangan?
I've got eight dogs. They keep me pretty busy

What is your life philosophy?
Do it now. There ain't a rewind button
