Go on, you know you wanna stay a bit longer..!!

Wow, so another Full Moon has successfully passed, buckets have been drunk in their hundreds (maybe thousands) then cleared up off of the beach, people have fallen in love, danced like there was not thousands of other people watching and a new beautiful day is upon us.

By now we hope that you have slept off your hangover or danced it off even more at Backyard and you’re now enjoying a peaceful, contented evening remembering your newly made memories of one of the biggest parties on the planet. You will be thinking of your next destination or may have already packed your bags to leave on the next day's boat.

But wait! There is no reason to leave just yet, your Koh Phangan experience has only just begun.

If you are not too constricted to a particular time frame then we would encourage you to stay a little while longer. Most hostels will clear out a bit over the next few days so it will be very easy to either keep your existing accommodation or even move to somewhere new if you want, plus the prices will decrease over the next few days.

Koh Phangan is a wonderful, magical place to be all month round and if you are still wanting to party then worry not, you can still find smaller yet just as good happenings going on after the Full Moon.

But there is more to life on the island other than parties and if you stay a little longer then you can enjoy it all yourself and with a little bit of a slower pace.

You can drive around and immerse yourself in the beautiful green jungle that sometimes stretches beyond where the eye can see and the beaches, wow, the beaches and the beautiful turquoise waters that you can swim and snorkel in are magnificent!

Spend some time really getting to know your new friends or get closer to your existing travel buddies by basking in one of Koh Phangan’s famous sunsets in the evening before enjoying the scrumptious delights at Panthip Food Market in Thong Sala or at any of the islands great restaurants, high class or affordable.

If you spend a few more days here then we promise that you will not regret it.

You have more of a chance to meet the locals, they are not busy serving you up drinks or booking in guests and all of the many other jobs that have to be done around full moon.

You can get to know the hostel owners and other expats and you may be inspired by the stories that they tell you of their Koh Phangan lifestyle, remember that people do actually live here…

Use this time to get to know the island, you never know if this will be your only chance and the other places you want to get to are not going anywhere either.

If this hasn’t persuaded you to stay a bit then just look up from your tablet, phone or computer, take a few steps outside if you are not already, then look around for one whole minute...

The island will speak to you itself...
