For years Jeab had dreamed of leaving Bangkok and moving to Koh Phangan, an island that she loved and that she had been visiting for more than 20 years. As part of that plan she started to learn massage in Bangkok and from a friend in Chiang Mai. Then in February 2000 she moved to the island to open a small shop where she did the massage herself, returning to Bangkok from time to time where she studied other kinds of massages.
