Musical Chameleon DJ Sunju Hargun is Back for the Jungle!

Jungle Experience Festival is upon us guys and gals so we are getting you warmed up with a little teaser from one of the headliners Sunju Hargun...

Hey Sunju, so are you looking forward to coming to Koh Phangan?
Totally! I don't come too often as I try to give myself a break from Phangan so that way when I do return it’s more special every time.

What have you been up to already this year?
This year has been a lot of travelling as I was in Europe twice already and will be heading back in October again for ADE (Amsterdam dance event). But aside from that I’ve been planning some new projects and also have been keeping myself busy experimenting in the studio.

Are you looking forward to playing Jungle Experience on August 17th?
Actually this will be the second time I have played at Jungle Experience after almost three years. But of course since then I’ve only seen amazing things online and how it has evolved.

What will you bring that is unique to Jungle?
I’m constantly searching for a new direction in sound every couple of months as I always try my best to stay in the future, however I consider myself a chameleon as I try to adapt with every environment I’m in.

But I will say to expect a lot of alienated sounds with heavy bass and infectious grooves.

What are your main projects for the rest of the year?
I can't say too much at the moment, but I’m in the middle of building my new brand concept called ‘XPLOR’ which will be events and a record label as well, but all shall be revealed in time.

What would you say to aspiring djs hoping to play around the world?
You need to feel excited about what you are doing and sometimes taking yourself out of the comfort zone to give that feeling.

In this game it's all about longevity and not the quick fifteen minutes of fame. Follow your heart. Let the music truly speak and it will never lie.
