On the 4th of March, a few hundred Koh Phangan locals gathered together at the school in Ban Tai for a school reunion!
One of the organisers was Bet from Mac's Bay Resort in Ban Kai, Phanganist met with her to find out more about this happy occasion.
We asked Bet why they had decided to hold a school reunion -
"It has been a long time since we have all been together, it was ten years ago since we last had a reunion and we all have good memories from school".
The reunion was for people aged from thirty to fifty five years old however anyone was invited to join the celebrations.
"There are many people from the school in Koh Phangan who made good friendships and relationships".
The reunion was a joyous event with a fashion show, dancing to the performers and of course plenty of food and drinks!
Bet adds "It's same same party but a reunion one!".
So how did they organise to get in touch with everyone?
"It wasn't easy but we used facebook and line and many different ways to contact all of the people".
The event started at 6pm and was scheduled to finish at midnight but as Bet said herself "If people are happy and having fun then it can last longer!".
