Recently we told you the story of Ken and how Eri and Tosh from Mojito Bar are fundraising for him to have surgery. Well here’s an update...
For three days, all of the profits from their cocktails go into the fund and there was a lot of people there which is great!
Eri tells us that people came to hang out and drink cocktails. It was for a good cause, friends and strangers came plus people like to do something new!
What was raised?
23,956 Baht!
Plus a 500 Dollar donation from the USA
Eri, Tosh and Ken want to say a huge THANK YOU!
So what is the next step?
Ken is still waiting for his surgery but they need maybe double the amount that has been raised so far so the donation boxes are still there and they still need more help from people.
How is Ken?
Ken was very surprised that people were supporting him as he never usually gets this kind of attention. He was a bit confused at first but he was happy.
He feels a bit bad about the money as he is shy and has brought a friend to help him work as his accident has made it harder.
Eri and Tosh are hoping to make another event just before Full Moon next month but for now they want to say a big thank you to all of the people who have helped them and most importantly helped Ken.
We are open everyday apart from Saturdays and the donation box is still there.
