We are asking to all of you lovely kind souls of Koh Phangan if you will help a sweet man called Ken.

Ken is originally from Burma (Myanmar) but has been living and working on Phangan for ten years now. At just twenty two years old, Ken was hit by a car whilst driving his motorbike on January the 31st.
Ken was left with a severe wrist injury.
He was taken to the hospital by his Phangan family Eri and Tosh who he works for at their bar in Thong Sala but they were told that they could not do the surgery here on Koh phangan.

The doctor said that if Ken does not have the surgery then he will not be able to use his wrist anymore so Eri and Tosh have decided to help him.
To continue with their mission for Ken’s treatment, Eri and Tosh have had to pay off an existing hospital fee of 50,000 Baht.
The trio headed to Surat Thani hospital after being told that the surgery could not be done on Samui also, there they managed to see a hand specialist who only comes once a week and they were finally given an appointment for February 19th.
Because Eri, Tosh and Ken are not local to Koh Phangan or even Thailand it has been even more difficult to find a specialist. But they won’t give up! Ken has no family but sees the girls as his surrogate family which is why they are so keen to help.
The specialist has told them that the surgery will cost more than 100,000 Baht and Eri and Tosh really want to help him as he has no one else to depend on.

The girls have already spent around 60,000 Baht on Ken’s medical treatment and have also spent a lot of time, but like everyone else, they are not rich.
This strong saviour team are now calling upon you folk to find it within your hearts to help continue the quest to help fix the lovely Ken.
There will be an event lasting three days from the 23rd to the 25th of February at their bar at Panthip Market in Thong Sala ‘Mojito Bar’ where they will provide free snacks on those days, all you have to do is go and buy a cocktail or three! All profits will go towards Ken’s surgery.

They also have donation boxes at the bar and also at their shop ‘Sritanu Jewelry’ where they are also offering a 10% discount on products if you donate and mention ‘Ken’.
Please help our wonderful friend Ken!
