Phangan Tourism Association & Ministry of Tourism and Sports are proudly present 2 Annual Phangan Breeze International Kiteboarding Competition to be held on September 22nd-23rd, 2012.
The opening and award ceremony will take place at Thongsala main pier. The competition will be hosted at Phangan Beach Resort in Ban Tai. This beach provides shallow water and safe areas for competitors.
The competition will be for 2 days and have 3 events as following: Big Air Freestyle, Raceboard Course Racing, Twin Tip Course Racing. In addition there will be freestyle shows from many pro riders including 3 times racing and 2 time freestyle Kiteboarding Tour Asia, Narapichit Pudla. Thai competitors from Rayong, Pataya, Hua Hin, Chonburi, Samui, Phuket & Phangan will be joing the competition along with many international riders from all around the world.
This event is a great way to attract tourists aside from full moon party, Koh Phangan has a lot more to offer. Kiteboarding is a sailing sport that use natural elements such as wind and water. A perfect way to promote Koh Phangan’s natural environment awareness.
